The Reaper's Raffle is the launch event for Hardcore Worlds. From 4 to 30 November 2026, everything you do on a Hardcore World can earn raffle entries from Death's bounty boards, and on 8 December Jagex draws over a hundred physical prizes on a livestream. This guide lists the boards, explains how entries are weighted, picks out the entries a brand-new character can earn without risking its one life, and covers the World Goals and World First prizes.
All of it is taken from the Reaper's Raffle newspost and its task feed as of 6 November 2026. Jagex says it will update that post daily with World Goal progress and World Firsts, so treat it as the live source.
How entries work
- One task, one entry. Complete a task on a Hardcore World during the event and you get a raffle entry. Harder tasks are worth 3, 5 or 10 entries.
- Logging in counts. Your first entry is for simply playing on a Hardcore World during November.
- Entries survive death. Jagex's words: tasks and entries carry over between deaths. Reset, transfer, start again; nothing already earned is lost.
- No in-game tracker. Jagex validates every completion behind the scenes. The newspost has a manual tracker where you can tick tasks, pin up to 50, filter by board and tag, and see which prizes you are eligible for. It saves to your device only.
- Winners are messaged in-game only. Any other contact claiming you won is not Jagex. Prizes ship at the beginning of 2027.
- The full terms are in the Reaper's Raffle T&Cs PDF linked from the newspost. Read them for region and age rules before you count on a prize.
This is still Hardcore Worlds
Every task here is done on one life under the Hardcore Group Ironman death list. The Wilderness board in particular is 70 tasks that all involve the one area where other one-life players are hunting you. Decide which entries are worth a character before you chase them. The survival guide covers the early-game deaths that cost people their first week.
The six bounty boards
The feed holds 443 tasks. Here is what each board is made of, with the headline entries.

Entries a fresh character can take safely
These are all one-entry tasks from the first hours of play, in roughly the order a new account hits them. None of them require fighting anything that appears in the launch-day death data.
- Login to Hardcore Worlds (Exploration). Done the moment you hop.
- Complete Cook's Assistant, Rune Mysteries, Druidic Ritual, Imp Catcher, The Ides of Milk, Gertrude's Cat, A Ruff Situation (Quests). Each is its own entry.
- Earn 1, 10, 25 and 50 Quest Points (Quests). Four entries on the way to the safe quest list.
- Achieve combat level 10, 30 and 50 (PvM).
- Achieve total level 250, 500 and 750 (Skilling).
- Achieve 43 Prayer (Skilling). Your most important level anyway.
- Mine some iron ore at Al Kharid mine, Mine 100 iron ore (Exploration, Skilling).
- Light 30 willow logs, Chop 2,000 logs of any type, Catch 2,500 of any fish (Skilling). AFK gathering that also sells on a fresh economy.
- Fletch 150 willow longbows, Cook 150 swordfish, Craft any silver item, Ferment a jug of wine (Skilling).
- Travel on a Fairy Ring, Travel on a Charter Ship, Travel on a Spirit Tree, Pass through the Shantay Pass, Travel by boat to Kourend (Exploration). Transport unlocks that cost coins, not Hitpoints.
- Teleport to Falador, Teleport to Catherby (Exploration). 37 and 45 Magic.
- Complete any Rooftop Agility Course, Store a spade with the tool leprechaun, Enter the Woodcutting Guild at 60 Woodcutting (Skilling, Exploration).
- Complete a game of Castle Wars and Complete a game of Soul Wars (Exploration). Both are on the safe-death list, so they are the only minigame entries with no risk.
- Complete 10 and 20 Easy Combat Achievements (Achievements). Most easy CAs are at low-level bosses or chickens and goblins.
Entries that look cheap and are not
- Complete a game of Pest Control (Exploration). Pest Control is a real death on Hardcore Worlds, and other players can pull splatters onto you. One entry is not worth a character.
- Complete 3 rounds of Fishing Trawler (Skilling). Also a real death here. Dying in the Trawler is rare, but it is not zero.
- Complete Waterfall Quest, Complete Haunted Mine, Complete Dragon Slayer, Complete Demon Slayer (Quests). All fine with preparation, all in the launch-day death data when done at level 3. Waterfall especially: unarmed against level 84 Moss Guardians that hit 14.
- Teleport using the lever in East Ardougne (Exploration). That lever drops you at the Deserted Keep in deep Wilderness, around level 51, where every teleport you own stops working. The task completes on arrival, but so does anyone camping the keep.
- Build a Dungeon in your Player-Owned House (Skilling). Building it is safe. Fighting anything in it is a real death.
The 10-entry tasks
Thirty-four tasks are worth ten entries each. Twelve of them are elite achievement diaries, four are collection log ranks (adamant to gilded), and the rest are end-game combat: the Inferno, the Colosseum, The Fractured Archive, Challenge Mode Chambers, Hard Mode Theatre, Expert Tombs, an Awakened Desert Treasure II boss, any boss pet, 40 unique bosses, 100 Slayer tasks, all Master and Grandmaster Combat Achievements, combat level 126 and total level 2,000. The four a normal account can realistically reach inside November are Achieve 99 in any skill, Achieve any skilling pet, Earn the Quest Cape and the first elite diary. The first 99 on the mode already happened on 6 November (Lunny HCW), so a 99 within the event window is realistic for a focused account, and 99 Firemaking at Wintertodt is the obvious candidate. Zero warmth at Wintertodt is a real death since the 2024 rework, so it is not a free 99.
